Refunds and cancellation

Payments for the paid plans are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record — the Paddle entity named on your receipt is the seller you buy from. Paddle handles the charge, the receipt, applicable taxes and any refund, under Paddle’s Buyer Terms. This page describes how that works for this product; where the two differ, Paddle’s terms govern the payment itself.

Every paid plan starts with a free trial — currently seven days, and the checkout says so before you confirm. Your payment method is collected at checkout but nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you owe nothing at all.

You can cancel at any time, yourself, from your account’s Billing section — it opens Paddle’s own portal, where cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep the plan’s features until then, and there are no further charges. Cancelling never deletes your data: your shelf, libraries and requests stay, and features beyond your plan simply pause.

Because the trial is free and cancelling stops future charges, most people never need a refund. If something went wrong — you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or the service materially failed you — ask, and we will sort it out with Paddle: use the link on your Paddle receipt, or contact us and we will raise it for you. Refunds outside your statutory rights are at our and Paddle’s reasonable discretion, per Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for the first purchase.
