This is an invented shelf, shown with the same pieces the real thing uses. There is also a live one: the platform's own demo library, reset every night, where you can send a request and see the status page — no email is sent and nothing is printed.
What a friend sees
Each spool is drawn wound to what is actually left on it, so the shelf reads at a glance. An empty one stays on the list rather than disappearing — knowing you are out of the white is worth as much as knowing you have it.
